Objective
To train specialized personnel in sheep and goat production and livestock extension capable of promoting and improving the production of these species in different agricultural sectors, participating in public and private sheep and goat production programs.

Two semesters (classes on Fridays and Saturdays)

Admission Requirements
- Hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science or a related discipline, or present the degree examination certificate or professional license corresponding to the indicated areas.
- Submit a résumé summary including address, telephone number, CURP, email address, etc.
- Copy of CURP.
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Copy of undergraduate academic transcript.
- Application letter including statement of purpose.
- Pass a technical translation examination in English or French with a certificate issued by the UNAM Center for Foreign Language Teaching (CELE) or the Language Center of the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Cuautitlán.
- Attend an interview with members of the Academic Committee of the Specialization in Sheep and Goat Production (by appointment).
- In the case of foreign students:
- Submit proof of legal residence in the country.
- If Spanish is not the applicant’s native language, provide proof of Spanish speaking and writing proficiency issued by the UNAM CELE or the Language Center of the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Cuautitlán.
Graduation Requirements
- Fulfill the corresponding curriculum requirements.
- Pass all courses with a minimum attendance of 80% of classes, including practical sessions.
- Choose one of the graduation modalities: Monograph, General Knowledge Examination, or Practical Work Report, in addition to fulfilling the requirements established in the General Regulations for Graduate Studies and the Program’s Operating Regulations.
