(MADEMS-CHEMISTRY)
General Objective
To train highly qualified professionals to teach at the Upper Secondary Education level in Chemistry.
Specific Objectives
- To provide students with conceptual and methodological tools for teaching practice based on social, ethical, and educational principles, aimed at achieving the comprehensive development of upper secondary education students.
- To offer solid training in psychological, pedagogical, and didactic knowledge that develops the teaching skills established in the graduate profile, in order to meet the educational and learning needs of upper secondary education students.
- To provide rigorous academic training that allows students to deepen both their mastery of the selected field of knowledge and the expert handling of its specialized didactics, from the perspective of scientific advances and developments in their discipline.
Admission Requirements
- Pass the admission examination and an interview with the Admissions Committee.
- Two letter-size copies of the undergraduate degree certificate, front and back. When applicable, an examination approval certificate or degree examination date must be provided, in which case enrollment will be conditional upon passing the examination.
- Copy of the academic transcript. If the transcript does not indicate the GPA obtained, an official certificate issued by the institution of origin indicating the GPA from recent studies must be attached.
- Statement of purpose highlighting the applicant’s academic interests.
- Updated Curriculum Vitae with photograph.
