The academic offerings at the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Cuautitlán focus on the following fields of knowledge:

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Master’s Degree in Physical Sciences is carried out in accordance with the current call issued by the UNAM Graduate Program in Physical Sciences.
- Academic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 8.0.
- English reading comprehension skills.
- Academic recommendation letters.
- Selection Process
- Knowledge examination covering Classical Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Mechanics, and Modern Physics.
- Oral evaluation.
- Interview, when applicable.
- Additional Information
- Free preparatory courses are offered to support applicants.
- Written and oral evaluation modalities.
- In-person or online format depending on the call.
- Possibility of exemption from the written examination for applicants with outstanding academic backgrounds.

The program includes two admission processes per year:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Academic Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field such as Mathematics, Engineering, Chemistry, or other related disciplines.
- Have a minimum GPA of 8.0 or equivalent.
- Demonstrate English reading comprehension skills.
- Submit academic recommendation letter(s).
Selection Process
To obtain the Master of Science degree, students must:
- Knowledge examination in Classical Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Mechanics, and Modern Physics.
- Oral evaluation.
- Interview, when determined by the Academic Committee.

Access to laboratories, libraries, supercomputing facilities, and collaboration with UNAM entities.
Scholarships and Financial Support
The Master’s Degree in Physical Sciences is part of the National Graduate System, allowing students to apply for maintenance scholarships granted by SECIHTI, subject to availability and compliance with requirements.
